The shoe can be different from
the measurement of your foot. Each style, and pattern of shoe is
different, so make sure that each pair of shoes fits perfectly.
A shoes tip
For shoes to be comfortable,
the ball of your foot should be snug around the widest part (ball
pocket).
Enough room
Make sure there is a thumb's
width between the end of your big toe and the tip of the shoe and the
ball of your foot fits comfortably in the widest part of the shoe.

For maximum comfort, buy a shoe
with adjustable fastening, such as laces or a strap with a buckle.

Lacing shoes correctly is
important. It is helpful to lace through each top eyelet twice to ensure
a more snug fit and decrease slippage. Children must be careful not to
tie laces too tight, as this may cause injury to the nerves or tendons
on the top of the foot and ankle.
