Make sure there is a thumb's
width between the end of your big toe and the tip of the shoe and the
ball of your foot fits comfortably in the widest part of the shoe.
FEEL COMFORTABLE!
For maximum comfort, buy a shoe
with adjustable fastening, such as laces or a strap with a buckle.
THEY CAN NEVER BE TIGHT
Avoid tight footwear,
(especially in the summer) plastic, canvas or nylon closed toe shoes.
These materials restrict evaporation around the foot.

STRETCH THEM
If you have shoes that feel
tight, bring them to the repair shop, they’ll stretch them. Don't plan
on them wearing out just by daily wear.
Try to Buy Leather
Leather sandals, although a bit
more expensive, are very comfortable and can be used with elegant casual
clothing.
